The canton approved plans & other associated components
On January 26, 2010 the canton has approved all the plans for separate use and other associated components. After not having received any appeals, these plans have now the force of law. We refer on following plans:
New Supervisory Board Chairman elected
In mid-December, various tasks and innovations were tackled and resolved: A new Supervisory Board Chairman was elected, a new information stand was set up and the demolition works were started in the area of the future Parkhotel.
Parkhotel Bad RANS – The first dimensional markers are laid
On the 21st August 2009, the application for planning permission for the four star superior hotel and medical spa was submitted. The application comprised a total of 17 boxes, filled with approximately 500 drawings and scores of documents. This alone shows the scale that such a project can achieve, not to mention the number of documents required to obtain a building licence. The aim is to have obtained the building licence by Christmas 2009, following constructive and positive cooperation with the municipality and the canton. All of the submitted proposals can be viewed at lastest constuction plans.
Concluding publication of plans / Submission of application for planning permission
The concluding inspection of the zoning, as well as the plans for separate use has been conducted by the Canton. Small adjustments arise from the inspection report which shall now be displayed publicly once again. Of these, only the amendments shall be published again which contain the following points...
The company Bad Rans was established to acquire the existing properties of the old SPA and (used since 1888) as well as enough property for the respective re- and new constructions.
 A revision of the old sulphur spring and a generous new building are in planning. Further...
